Peter John Ramos has participated in the National Superior Basketball League of Puerto Rico (BSN), the D League and the NBA. He has been representing the Puerto Rican National Basketball team since 2004.
In the NBA, Ramos played in 6 games and collected 11 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block. His free throw percentage was 0.500 and field goal percentage was 0.500. He got the opportunity to play in 76 games in the NBA Development League. His field goal percentage was 0.574 and free throw percentage was 0.606. He recorded 23 steals, 123 blocks, 541 rebounds, 80 assists and 1075 points.
At the end of the 2004 season of the BSN, Ramos had averages of 9.4 rebounds and 20.4 points per game. During the 2004 NBA draft, the Washington Wizards selected him in the 2nd round as the 32nd selection. In the same year during summer, he took part in the NBA Summer Pro League with the Wizards. He was a part of the Puerto Rico squad that defeated Team USA in the 2004 Olympic Games.
Peter John Ramos is an All-NBDL honorable mention and NBDL All-star in the year 2006-07. In 2002, he received BSN Most Improved Player Award. He is the 3rd ever Puerto Rican player who was drafted by an NBA team.
