Serkan Erdogan is a member of Turkey national basketball team. He is 6 feet 2.75 inches tall and weighs 185 lbs. He has been allocated the position of Shooting Guard.

During his career, he has been involved with several teams like Kolejlijer in 1994-95, Tuborg Pilsener from 1995 to 1998, Tofas from 1998 to 2000, Ulkerspor from 2000 to 2005, TAU Ceramica from 2005 to 2007 and Efes Pilsen during 2007-08. Presently, he plays for Turk Telekom B.K. from Ankara, Turkey.

Erdogan attended TED Ankara College Basketball academy and his professional debut took place with this team. He is reputed by his robust Fenerbahce fan character. He participated in the 2006 World Championship and 2005 European Championship. In case of the Under 22 championships, he took part in the 1997 World Under 22 Championship and the 1996 European Under 22 Championship. He was a member of the Turkish Under 18 and Under 22 national teams. He was a winner of the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 Turkish National Championship with Tofas Bursa. He was named the 2004-05 Euroleague Week 19 Most Valuable Player.
