Tom Garlepp has been associated with Perth Wildcats from the 2008 season. He plays in the position of Forward. He is 203 centimeters tall and weighs 98 kg.
In 2003, Garlepp was invited to play in the South East Australian Basketball League for the Australian Institute of Sport’s team. Tom graduated from Aquinas College in 2003. He led the Aquinas team to the State High School Championships and in the national championships won a bronze medal. He shot 60 percent from the free throw line, 30 percent from 3 point range and 45 percent from the field. As a senior in college, he had an average of 5 blocked shots, 4 assists, 12 rebounds and 25 points per game. From 2005 to 2007, he was a student of the University of California – Santa Barbara. As a freshman, he participated in the season opener against San Francisco and recorded season highs of 7 rebounds and 16 points.
