Casey Frank took part in professional basketball in the Australian NBL, Sweden, France and United States. In 2002, he arrived in New Zealand and represented the Auckland Stars. Presently, he is a member of Gold Coast Blaze.
Casey Frank has a height of 2.03 meters and plays in the position of Forward. He debuted in the NBL in 2003. He is a renowned slam dunker and in the previous season has averaged 2 assists, 7 rebounds and 12 points. As per Blaze coach Brendan Joyce, Frank has superior athleticism, is a high energy entertainer and has a good basketball future.
Initially, Frank was a member of New Zealand Breakers in 2003. Then, during the 2005-06 season, he shifted to West Sydney Razorbacks. When he signed a 3 year deal with the Blaze, he reunited with Brendan Joyce, who worked with him during the 2006-07 season in Wollongong. In his contract with Wollongong, Casey had listed a clause which stated that if there was an alteration in the coach, he would be permitted to leave the club. However, he was not on the free agent list.
At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, he was a member of Tall Blacks team that won the silver medal. He won NBL titles in 2004 and 2005 with the Auckland Stars.
