Joey or Richard Elmer Jorsey is an American professional basketball player who is currently a member of Houston Rockets in the National Basketball Association. He occupies the spot of Forward. During the 2008 NBA draft, he was selected by Portland Trail Blazers in the 2nd round. He was the 3rd pick and overall 33rd pick. He was further exchanged with Nicolas Batum to the Houston Rockets. He has won the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2008. The Rockets have allocated him to Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBDL (National Basketball Development League).
Joey Dorsey has a height of 6 feet 8 inches and weight of 268 lbs. He completed his schooling from Laurinburg Institute High School in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
