William Bedford is a professional basketball player from America who used to play in the position of Center. He has a height of 7 feet and in his playing days weighed 225 lbs.

The Melrose High School in Memphis was attended by Bedford. Later he got admission in the University of Memphis. During the 1986 NBA draft he was chosen in the 1st round (overall 6th) by the Phoenix Suns.

Bedford got the opportunity to play six seasons in the National Basketball Association. He was a member of Phoenix Suns in the 1986-87 season. He played for the Detroit Pistons from the 1987-88 season to the 1991-92 season. 1992-93 season was the last one for Bedford during which he was a member of San Antonio Spurs.
