High School and College Career
Griffin attended the Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York. In 2021, he played in the Jordan Brand Classic. That year, he was also named a McDonald’s All-American.
Griffin committed to play collegiate basketball for Duke University and was there from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, he was named to the ACC All-Rookie Team.
Professional Career
In 2022, he decided to forgo the rest of his college eligibility and declare for the 2022 NBA Draft where he was selected in the first 1st round as the 16th overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks.
He signed his rookie contract with the Hawks in July 2023.
In addition to his professional career, he also plays for the United States in international events including the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship.
