Matt Barnes is a professional basketball player playing as a Small Forward with the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association. He is 6 feet and 7 inches tall weighing at 226 lbs.
Matt Barnes did his schooling from the Del Campo High School in Sacramento, California. He later attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he played for the college basketball team called the UCLA Bruins. In 2002, he was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies however played with the Fayetteville Patriots in the NBA’s Development League. In 2004, Barnes was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers later traded Barnes to the Sacramento Kings in 2005. The following season, Barnes was acquired by the New York Knicks and immediately exchanged to the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2007, the Sixers traded him to the Golden State Warriors. After playing with the Warriors for two seasons, Barnes was traded to the Phoenix Suns in July 2008.
