Jim Barnett was a Point Guard and a Forward player playing professional basketball for the Philadelphia 76ers in the National Basketball Association. He is 6 feet and 4 inches tall weighing at 170 lbs.
Jim Barnett did his schooling from the Ramona high School in Riverside, California. He later attended the University of Oregon where he played for the college basketball team called the Oregon Ducks. Barnett was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 1966. He was traded to the San Diego Rockets in 1968. After playing with the Rockets for 3 seasons, Barnett was acquired by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1971 and traded to the Golden State Warriors in 1972. He played with the Warriors for 3 seasons and was sold to the New Orleans Jazz in 1975 who traded him to the New York Knicks the same season after 45 games. The Knicks traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers in 1977. Barnett did not play any basketball for the NBA after the season. He now works as a T.V. analyst with the Golden State Warriors.
