Career
Gill played college basketball for the University of South Carolina before he transferred to the University of Virginia. While playing college football, he was named to the Third-Team All-ACC in 2015 and 2016.
He went undrafted during the 2016 NBA Draft. He later signed to play for Yeşilgiresun Belediye in the Turkish Basketball League. In 2017, he signed to play for the Charlotte Hornets in the 2017 NBA Summer League. In the same year, he signed to play for Khimki in Russia.
In 2020, he parted ways with Khimki and he signed to play for the Washington Wizards.
