High School and College Career

He played varsity basketball for his high school of Broughton in Raleigh. He originally committed to play for Appalachian State University. But he chose to take a post-graduate year rather than play for the Appalachian.

He then committed to play for the University of Kansas. He played all four years at Kansas. While there, he was named the Big 12 Tournament MVP in 2016. He was also named to that year’s Big 12 All-Defensive Team. In 2018, he was named the Big 12 Player of the Year.

NBA Career

The Atlanta Hawks drafted Graham, into the NBA in 2018. He was picked in the 2nd round. He was later traded to the Charlotte Hornets. He signed with the Hornets and he made his NBA debut in October 2018.

In August 2021, the Hornets traded Graham to the New Orleans Pelicans. In December of that year, he set the record for the longest buzzer-beating game-winning shot in the history of the NBA when he made a 61-foot shot in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In February 2023, he was traded to the Spurs.
