Chaundee Brown Jr. is a basketball player who is currently playing for the South Bay Lakers, the Los Angeles Lakers NBA G League affiliate. He is playing the shooting guard position.

Early Life and High School Career

Brown was born and raised in Orlando, Florida where he learned basketball. When he was in high school, he attended Dr. Phillips High School. Eventually, he transferred to The First Academy during his junior year. He made a record of 24.7 points with 6.7 rebounds per game, which earned him the Florida Gatorade Player of the Year and 4A Player of the Year.

Due to his spectacular performance, he received offers from Kansas, Florida, and Indiana. However, he chose to play for Wake Forest University.

Wake Forest and Michigan University

Brown started with the record of 7.6 points with 3 rebounds as a freshman. During his sophomore year, his performance improved when he contributed 11.9 points with 4.9 rebounds, and on his junior season, 12.1 points with 6.5 rebounds. Unfortunately, he sustained ankle and calf injuries when he was in his junior year that’s why he was sidelined for the meantime.

Eventually, Brown transferred to Michigan University and he had received a waiver for eligibility from NCAA. In April 2021, he announced that he is going to join the 2021 NBA Draft.

NBA Career

Unfortunately, he went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft. He signed with the Lakers in August 2021, yet he was waived a few months after. In October 2021, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers so he could play to their NBA G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. He only made 2 appearances for the team, until his contract was waived again.

In December 2021, he signed with the Atlanta Hawks for a 10-day contract.
