Joshua Primo is a professional basketball player from Canada. He plays in the National Basketball Team (NBA). He was drafted into the league by the San Antonio Spurs during the 2021 NBA Draft. High School and College Career
He attended the Huntington Prep School and was on the same team as fellow NBA player JT Thor. Later he transferred to the Royal Crown Academic School. In his senior year, he was considered a five-star recruit. He received a number of offers including one from Creighton University.
He attended the University of Alabama. In 2021, he was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. In the same year, he declared for the NBA and later gave up the rest of his college eligibility.
The Spurs
He was picked by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2021 NBA Draft. He was their 12th Overall Pick during the first found. The Spurs announced that they had signed Primo in August 2021. He made his NBA debut in October 2021.
As of January 2022, he is the youngest player in the NBA. He is also considered as the youngest player to have attended some college before being drafted into the NBA.
