Tre Mann is a professional basketball player who took the assignment of being in the Oklahoma City Blue, an NBA G Affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tre Mann was born in Gainesville, Florida, where he played basketball in The Villages Charter Schools. When he played for the team, he recorded 20 points with 5.6 rebounds per game. However, as young as he was, suffered from a torn right knee meniscus. During his high school year, he was declared to be Daily Commercial All-Area Player of the Year.

Pre-professional Career

Before Mann gets into college, he was rated a 5-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports. In 2018, he decided to play for the Florida Gators and rejected offers from North Carolina, Kansas, and Tennessee.

During his debut for the Florida Gators, Mann gathered a record of 11 points with 4 rebounds, defeating the North Florida Ospreys. Following his successful stint in his freshman year, he decided to join the 2020 NBA Draft, but his plan moved to the 2021 NBA Draft. He last minute decided to play for the same team during his sophomore season, where he scored 19 points against the Army Black Knights.

NBA Career

Mann joined the 2021 Draft and was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder. In August 2021, he signed a contract with them, but he was assigned to its NBA G Affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue. Mann became a trending young player as he was called by the fans “Tre Mann with Authority.”
