High School and College Career

He attended Cedar Ridge High School. One of his breakthrough moments was when their school won against Forrest City High School, where he scored 73 points in a triple-overtime. In his last year in high school, he recorded an average of 32.5 points with 5.1 assists and 8.8 rebounds.

Reaves entered college at Wichita State University. As a freshman, he underwent surgery for his torn labrum. His performance was affected as he only averaged 4.1 points per game. He also suffered bone dislocation and had to miss a lot of games.

When he was a sophomore, he decided to move to the University of Oklahoma where his performance drastically improved. In March 2020, he recorded a 41-point per game with 5 rebounds and 6 assists.

Professional Career

In March 2021, he announced that he was going to join the 2021 NBA Draft. He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers, and he signed with them in August 2021. On October 22, he made his NBA debut.

As of 2023, he is still signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.
