A’ja Wilson is a professional American basketball player in the WNBA. She is a WNBA All-Star and the 2018 Rookie of the Year. Wilson currently plays in the power forward position for the Las Vegas Aces.

While attending Heathwood Hall in high school, she led the basketball team to the 2014 state championship. In college, she became the all-time leading female basketball player and garnered several awards for her exceptional performance.

In the 2018 WNBA draft, she was selected first overall draft by the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson scored a career-high 35 points on June 12, 2018. She was also selected for the WNBA All-Star game and was chosen as the 2018 Rookie of the Year.
