Cheryl Reeve is a professional American coach in the WNBA. She started her coaching career in 1988 and is presently the head coach and general manager of the Minnesota Lynx. Reeve is a two-time WNBA Coach of the Year and four-time WNBA champion.

Her coaching career started at La Salle University where she served as assistant coach from 1998 to 1990. They were able to accomplish four appearances in NCAA tournaments and three Atlantic 10 Conference Championships.

She became the assistant coach of the Charlotte Sting in 2001 and the team was able to reach the WNBA Finals. Donovan became the head coach of the Seattle Storm in 2002 but returned to the Sting shortly after.

Donovan became the assistant coach of the Detroit Shock from 2006 to 2009. On December 8, 2009, she became the Minnesota Lynx’s head coach. With the team’s exceptional improvement in 2011, Reeves was named the WNBA Coach of the Year. The Lynx also took home their first WNBA championship.

The team advanced to their second championship in 2013 making Reeves the most win coach in the history of the franchise. In 2016, she won the WNBA Coach of the Year award again.
