*Sidney Spencer’ was born on March 7, 1985 in Hoover, Alabama, to Steve and Janice Spencer. She has two older brothers, Brad and Scott.High SchoolSidney attended Hoover High School.*College’Sidney attended the University of Tennessee, majoring in Sports Management. She played basketball for the Lady Vols under coach Pat Summitt.
Sidney missed the last part of the 2004-05 season with a torn ACL. In April 2007 she helped lead the Lady Vols to the NCAA national championship.
WNBASidney was selected in the 2nd round of the 2007 WNBA draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
