Allie Quigley Is a professional American basketball player in the WNBA. Quigley currently plays in the point guard or shooting guard position for the Chicago Sky. She is a two-time WNBA All-Star.
Quigley was born on June 20, 1986 in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Pat and Christine Quigley (and stepdaughter of Donald Strle. She has an older brother, Ryan, a younger brother, Jake and a younger sister, Sam.
She attended Joliet Catholic High school, where she was a three-sport standout. Indeed, she was the first athlete to make the Chicago Sun-Times All-Area first teams in three sports (volleyball, basketball and softball). She scored 2,348 points as a four-year starter.
Quigley attended DePaul University as a Physical Education major from 2004-2008, and played basketball for the Blue Demons. She was chosen in the second round of the 2008 WNBA Draft, by the Seattle Storm, but was waived. She then signed a training camp contract with the Phoenix Mercury, and is currently on their roster.
In 2014, she won the Sixth Woman of the Year award and she won the same award again in 2015. Quigley also played internationally for the Turkish league.
