DeMarcus Cousins will take his chances to help the Milwaukee Bucks win their 2nd championship title this year, no matter what role he will be playing. The former Clippers star had agreed to play with the defending champions for a 1-year contract.
Cousins mentioned in an interview that he is extremely grateful that he is signing with the Bucks. Mike Budenholzer, Milwaukee Bucks coach, is expecting Cousins to be present for a night home game against the Charlotte Hornets, as Cousins will be playing.
Milwaukee Bucks has been having problems winning for this season due to the absence of Brook Lopez, who is currently suffering a back injury. With Cousins addition to the team, the Bucks will utilize Cousins’ skills so they can cope with this season.
Budonholzer thinks that Cousins will do whatever it takes to win any match. Cousins already received 2015 and 2016 second-team all-NBA honors before he suffered a huge blow of injuries such as a ruptured Achilles tendon and a torn cruciate ligament.
During the last season, he played 41 games with the LA Clippers with a record score of 8.9 points with 1.9 assists and 6.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes of playtime.
With his good record on court, the Bucks believed that Cousins will be improving his 3-point shots, especially now that he’s working with two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. Even the Bucks coach thinks that he will let play with Antetokounmpo because both of them are gifted players.
Cousins is pretty submissive to the coach’s request, as he is willing to do whatever the Bucks would ask of him.
