Another milestone came to four-time NBA Champion LeBron James as he entered his 19th season in NBA.

Despite the rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden States Warriors, the Warrior superstar Stephen Curry can’t help to comment that James had set the standard due to his longevity in NBA.

To add another accomplishment in his portfolio, LeBron James helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA Championship last year against the Miami Heat. Curry also praised James for helping the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the NBA Finals for four consecutive years from 2015 to 2018.

Curry commented that with 9 straight finals that James had reached, he might have a vision of sustaining himself and re-imagining the future. The two-time MVP Curry was already an accomplished player when he was still playing for Davidson College. Therefore, playing against James is a weird perspective for him because he was an amateur player in college while James is already a prime in the NBA League.

Curry also shared that James ran to him during the NCAA tournament in his sophomore year and continued to watch his game in his junior year. Curry shared a sentimental moment where he still had a jersey with James’ autograph. Reminiscing back on the memories of his college years, it was weird as it happened more than 13 years ago.

Curry and James are bound to redeem themselves in the upcoming 2021-22 NBA regular season starting October 19.
