Being the defending champion for many years, the Los Angeles Lakers have shocked fans after they got eliminated in the first round of the NBA Playoff.

One of the major reasons why they were eliminated is because they have started a training camp last year, which is over a month after winning the Larry OBrien Trophy at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Because of physical fatigue, the LA Lakers generally took a physical toll that affected their games in the playoff.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers come off with good news because they are preparing for the next season, as posted by Shams Charania in his Twitter account. He mentioned that the key dates for the NBA Season would start on September 28 for the Training Camp and October 29 for the start of the regular season.

Of course, the fact that freak injuries might happen during the season, fans are hoping that it won’t be as bad as what Anthony Davis has incurred, as he is still suffering from fatigue-related injury. Time is also for them, as they have to rest so they can be healthy and more ready for the next season.

Many fans believed that the Lakers needs to have an off-season before returning to the Western Conference because they have to redeem themselves after their humiliating loss against the Phoenix Suns.

On the other hand, Los Angeles Lakers star player LeBron James is having a new venture off the court, as he will star in the second installment of the Space Jam. He is also set to change his jersey number from 23 to 6, to get out of Michael Jordan’s shadow. It is remembered that Michael Jordan is the first player who played the lead role in the first installment of the Space Jam.
