The Philadelphia 76ers missed the chance to seal top seeding in the Eastern Conference after a 103-94 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, while Kyrie Irving was hurt in the Brooklyn Nets’ win.

Joel Embiid was absent for the Philadelphia 76ers who now have an 8-11 record when he’s not playing, unable to quell the Indiana Pacers, meaning they’ll have to wait to secure top spot in the East.

Domantas Sabonis had a triple-double for the Pacers with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists, while Caris LeVert posting up 24 points.

For the 76ers, Tobias Harris top scored with 27 points, while Ben Simmons chipped in 20 points with eight rebounds and seven assists.

The 76ers remain clear at the top with a 47-22 record but the Brooklyn Nets close to 45-24 after they defeated the Chicago Bulls 115-107.

The Nets lost Kyrie Irving to a facial contusion in the third quarter, exiting the court and he underwent concussion tests.

Nets coach Steve Nash said: Theres no concussion symptoms but well have to reevaluate it when we get the second scan.”

Kevin Durant stepped up with 21 points for the Nets, while Bruce Brown Jr had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Lakers stayed in the hunt for a top six berth, with a 101-99 over-time win against the in-form New York Knicks.

Julius Randle missed a clear look to clinch the win on the buzzer of normal time as the Lakers triumphed without LeBron James again.

Stephen Curry only had 21 points but the Golden State Warriors keep on winning, triumphing 122-116 over the Phoenix Suns.
