Runs Created

Developed by Bill James in the late 1970s, “runs created” (RC) is a baseball statistic used to calculate the number of runs contributed by a hitter to his team.

The formula for “runs created” is: RC = (Base hits + Walks) x Total Bases/At Bats + Walks.
