Gap Hitter

In baseball, a “gap hitter” is also known as a “double hitter”. A “gap hitter” is a player recognized for his or her batting strength and ability to hit into the gaps between the outfielders and down the line. This player is able to hit the ball very hard while being able to control its direction, thereby generating “doubles” and “triples”.
