Jason Varitek is an American catcher on the Boston Red Sox.

Varitek has spent his entire career with the Red Sox, and is currently the team captain. He holds the team record for most games caught, with over 1000. He has been an All-Star three times, and won the Gold Glove in 2005. He also holds a MLB record for catching 4 no-hitters. He helped lead the Red Sox to two World Series in 2004 and 2007.

Varitek has enjoyed success throughout his entire life, placing him in a very elite category. He is one of only two players to play in the Little League World Series, the College World Series and the MLB World Series. He is the only player to have played in all three of the above championships, as well as compete in the Summer Olympics and the World Baseball Classic.
