He was drafted into the MLB when he was a senior during the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. They put him through their minor league system and he played for teams including the Danville Braves, Rome Braves, and the Mississippi Braves.
In 2018, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles, and again he was put through the franchise’s minor league system. He played for the Bowie Baysox and the Norfolk Tides. He made his major league debut with the Orioles in September 2020 in a game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
In August 2021, he was placed on the injured list. He was activated in September of the same year.
