Jeremy Boderman is starting pitcher in Detroit Tigers who played in the 2006 World Series where they lost to the St. Louis Cardinals. He was the first player in baseball to be drafted straight out of high school when he was picked by the Oakland Athletics in 2001. He was traded to Detroit in 2002 and debuted in the MLB in 2003 at only 20 years of age.
