Societa Sportiva Lazio is a football club from Rome that play in the Italian top division, Serie A. In reference to the club's white and sky-blue colours they are sometimes called Biancocelesti and also Aquilotti (young eagles) as the seal includes an eagle.

Lazio is the oldest active club in Rome. The team share the Stadio Olimpico, the second largest stadium in Italy (capacity: 82,656), with Roma.

The club has a group of ultra supporters with far-right political viewpoints (their views do not represent the majority stance of the fans) and in contrast to Roma's left-wing supporters they contribute to the fierce rivalry between the two clubs. The Rome Derby is among the most heated rivalries in international football. Lazio's ultras are also rivals to Napoli, but friendly with fellow ultra groups of Inter and Hellas Verona.
