Also referred to as the Citizens or the Blues. Home arena City of Manchester Stadium with a capacity of 48,000. Had its most glorious period during 1960-1970 when it acquired several trophies.

Manchester City has won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup four times, and the European Cup Winners Cup once.

In July 2007, the new owner, and former Prime Minister of Thailand, brought in former England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson as the head coach. Lots of money will now be invested in new player material and the team will be strengthened considerably for the 2007/08 season.
