The Atlanta Glory was an American Basketball League (ABL) team, based in Atlanta, Georgia. They played at Forbes Arena. Their player/coach was Teresa Edwards, her assistant coach was Connie Guinn.

The American Basketball League ran from 1996 through 1998, beginning one year earlier than the rival WNBA league.

The Atlanta Glory was one of the most popular of the ABL teams, drawing more fans on the road than any other team, perhaps due to their storied coach.

A 16-year basketball veteran, Theresa Edwards (33) had approached the ABL about becoming the Glory's coach.
Edwards had won 12 international medals, nine of them gold, and was America's only four-time basketball Olympian. She was USA Basketball's 1996 Female Athlete of the Year.
