Calgary Flames

Calgary Flames is a Canadian NHL team that plays in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The original franchise was the Atlanta Flames (1972-1980) but relocated to Calgary in 1980.

The team won the Stanley Cup in 1989 when they defeated Montreal Canadiens in best-of-seven 4 games to 2. They team has won the Conference three times (last in 2004) and the Division six times (last 2006).

The home games are played at the Pengrowth Saddledome, which seats 19,289.
