Florida Panthers

The Florida Panthers is an NHL team that plays in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference. They are based in the Miami suburb Sunrise and play their home games at the BankAtlantic Center with a capacity of 19,250.

The Panthers' best season to date is 1995/96 when they won the Conference Finals 4-3 against Pittsburgh Penguins, after beating Boston Bruins in the quarterfinals and Philadelphia Flyers in the semi, and made it to the Stanley Cup Final where they fell to Colorado Avalanche in four straight games.

Since 2000 they have not made the playoffs.
