SSC Napoli

S.S.C. Napoli (Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli) is an Italian football club based in Napoli, Campania in Southern Italy.

The club was formed in 1926 and spent most of its history in Serie A, often being the sole representative of the Italian South in the country's top division.

The most famous and successful era the team has had in the league and in Europe was when Maradona played for the club between 1984-1991 and helped them win the Serie A twice and the UEFA Cup once.

The team plays its home games at the Stadio San Paulo, seating 78,000. The arena will change names to Diego Maradona Stadio when Maradona has passed away.Edit text
