Inter Milan

Football Club Internazionale Milano is one of the top clubs in Europe. They are the current 2006/07 champions of the Serie A. The club was founded as a group of Italians and Swiss were against the domination of Italians in AC Milan and created Internazionale, which was open to foreign players, and thereby lived up to its name.

Inter is also called Nerazzurri (the Black-Blues), La Beneamata (the Cherished), Il Bicione (the Big Grass Snake) among its fans.

Among the club's finest accomplishments are :

- 15 Serie A titles. - 5 Coppa Italia - 2 Champions League (European Cup 1964 and 1965) - 3 UEFA Cup (1991, 1994, 1998)

The home ground is shared with AC Milan and is called the Giusseppe Meazza at San Siro, the capacity is 85,700.
