Danish women’s cricket team fan club
The now inactive Danish women’s cricket team represented Denmark in international women’s cricket. They played two world cups and were more successful than the men’s team who failed to qualify for the men’s world cup.
The Danish women’s cricket team debuted in the 1989 European Championship and went on to play the tournament in 1991, achieving runners up status at both the occasions. They also participated in the 1993 and 1997 World Cups and finished 7th and 10th respectively. Other international cricket played by the Danish women includes two match ODI series against the Netherlands in 1997 and 1998.
The Danes were last seen in the 1999 European Championship and the official site of the Danish Cricket Federation now has no information concerning women's team, which implies that they are currently defunct.
The players include-Iversen, DT Christainsen, Philipsen, DS Christainsen, Mikkelsen, T Christainsen, Gregersen, Hansen, S Nielsen, Brock, and I Nielsen.
