Djurgardens IF (DIF) Hockey is an ice-hockey club from Stockholm Sweden, which was founded by a group of young athletes living on the royal island of Djurgarden in Stockholm.
The club is among the most successful teams in Sweden with most championships and most amount of notable players. DIF has won the Swedish championship 16 times, but missed the play-offs in 2005/06 for the first time in 19 years.
The team is commonly referred to as the Jarnkaminerna (Iron Stoves) or Stockholms Stolthet (The Pride of Stockholm).
