9 de Julio are a football club based out of Rafaela in Santa Fe, Argentina. They are a part of the Torneo Argentino A, a third tier of the Argentine Football Association. At the end of the Clausura 2007 season, 9 de Julio were accused of fixing a 1-1 draw against Central Norte. 9 de Julio were in need of a 1-1 draw from the game in order to qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season and the evidence of the agreement was a video of the agreement that was broadcast on an Argentine Sports channel.

As a result, the club will begin the 2008 Apertura with a negative 6 point total while their manager, Jorge Solterman, has been barred from any form of the game for the next five years. Danilo Tosello has been a major player for the team in 1994-95.
