Marc Planus> was born on 7th March 1982 in Bordeaux, France. He is a professional footballer who plays for the national football team of France. He is also a part of the French football club Bordeaux. Standing six feet tall, Planus plays as a Defender. Marius Tresor, the legendary defender of France finds Marc Planus calm and poised and in his opinion these qualities make him a good defender.
Planus began his football career with Bordeaux in 2002. Till now, he has made two hundred and eleven appearances and has succeeded in scoring goals three times. It was believed by many that the performance of Bordeaux was affected at the time when Planus was sidelined due to injuries.
Impressed by the positional sense, commitment and clearances of Planus, Coach Raymond Domenech found him suitable for French squad for FIFA World Cup 2010. He entered the side at an age of 28. He made his international debut in 2010 and has made one appearance for France till date.
Marc Planus has been a part of Bordeaux in their victory titles of Ligue 1 in 2008-09, Trophée Des Champions in 2008 and 2009 as well as Coupe de la Ligue in the years 2007 and 2009.
