Mauro Esposito is an Italian footballer who currently features for the Italian giants AS Roma. He is essentially an attacking midfielder who usually plays along the right wing.

Mauro Esposito made his professional debut at Pescara Calcio in the Italian Serie B and in 1999 joined Udinese after failing a trial at Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers. In 2001 he joined Sardianian side Cagliari and after spending six considerably successful seasons with them moved over to AS Roma in the summer of 2007 after the Roman club acquired 50% of the rights to Cagliari for 2 million euros and also had to sell them Daniele Magliocchetti.

Mauro Esposito made his international debut for Italy in October 2004 against Slovenia in a 2002 World Cup qualifier.
