Anatoliy Oleksandrovych Tymoshchuk is a Ukrainian international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
Anatoliy Oleksandrovych Tymoshchuk commenced his professional club football career at his hometown club Volyn Lutsk and after two successful seasons was signed by Shakhtar Donestsk in 1997. He played for them for ten successful years and won the Ukrainian championship thrice and the Ukrainian Cup twice.
In 2007 Tymoshchuk was signed by Russian Premier League club Zenit St. Petersburg for 15 million euros and played for them for two seasons, winning the Russian Premier League in 2007 and the UEFA Cup in 2008.
Tymoshchuk was officially signed by German powerhouse Bayern Munich in the summer of 2009 for a reported 14 million euros.
Anatoliy Tymoshchuk made his international debut for Ukraine in 2000 and played for his nation at the 2006 World Cup finals.
