Jose Ignacio Castillo Alvarez, nicknamed Nacho, is an Argentine football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Lecce. He plays as a striker.
Jose Ignacio Castillo commenced his professional club football career at Independiente de Tandil and subsequently played for Brindisi,Nardo,Vigor Lamezia and Apulia. All these clubs were in the lower tiers of Italian football.
Castillo joined Frosinone for the 2006-2007 season in the Italian Serie B. He was mosty used as a substitute that season and signed for Pisa in the same division for the 2007-2008 season. He scored 21 goals for Pisa that season.
In August 2008 Jose Igacio Castillo was signed by Italian Serie A club Lecce.
