Adrian Leijder

Adrian Leijer is a young Australian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Fulham. He plays as a centre-back.

Adrian Leijer started his professional club career at Australian side Melbourne Knights in 2003 and was impressive in the 2003-2004 season, scoring 20 goals.

In 2005 he was signed by Melbourne Victory and established himself as a promising young Austrlain footballer, scoring one goal in 41 league appearances in two seasons between 2005 and 2007.

In the summer of 2007 Leijer was signed by Premier League club Fulha on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. He played for the Fulham reserved in the 2007-2008 season and has been drafted into the first team for the 2008-2009 season.

Adrian Leijer made his international debut for Australia against Singapore on March 22,2008. Great things are expected of this Aussie youngster in the coming years.
