Antonio Guayre Betancor Perdomo is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division side Numancia. He plays as a winger but canalso feature as a striker.
Antonio Guayre developed at the youth academy of Las Palmas and made his debut for the senior side in 2001. He scored 8 goals in 31 league matches in his first and only season at Las Palmas and was signed by Villarreal in the summer of 2001. He played for Villarreal for five years between 2001 and 2006, scoring 17 goals in 137 league matches and was signed by Celta de Vigo.
He didn’t manage to repeat his old form at Celta and could manage just 1 goal in 19 league matches for Celta. He was plagued with injury for most of his time at Celta.
In the summer of 2008, Numancia signed Guayre.
Antonio Guayre made his international debut for Spain on February 9,2005 against San Marino in Almeria in a 2006 Germany World Cup. To this day, it remains his only match for his nation.
