Andrés Palop Cervera is a Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish side FC Sevilla. He plays as a goalkeeper and is the regular first choice for the Andalucian giants.
Andres Palop came through the youth academy at Valencia but couldn't make the breakthrough in the first spell to the first team. He moved to Villarreal in 1997 and after two season at the then modest Spanish side, he was recalled to Valencia and played second fiddle to Santiago Canizares until the summer of 2005 when he was signed by Sevilla.
Palop won back to back UEFA Cup titles in 2006 and 2007 and is now renowned as one of the best custodians in Spain.
