Ibai Gomez is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao. He plays as a forward.
Gomez developed at the youth academy of Santutxu and played for their first team in 2009-10. He then moved to Sestao for a year after which he was inducted into Athletic Bilbao, He was essentially part of the B team for two years between 2010 and 2012, but he was also playing for the first team and is now a full-time member.
Gomez made his La Liga debut for Bilbao on October 17, 2010 when he came on as a substitute against Real Zaragoza at San Mames.
Gomez has scored one goal in one match for the Basque Country so far.
