Jonathan dos Santos is a Mexico international football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Barcelona. He plays as a midfielder and is rated as one of the most promising young players in the world. He is the brother of Giovani dos Santos.
Dos Santos joined Barcelona’s La Masia youth academy in 2002 and progressed through the ranks before being part of the B team in 2009. He played for the B team until 2012 when he was promoted to the first team.
However, Dos Santos has failed to establish himself in the Blaugrana first team and is more or less a squad player at the moment. He does have the winner’s medals for La Liga titles won in 2010, 2011 and 2013 and the Champions League in 2011.
Dos Santos made his international debut for Mexico on September 30, 2009 in a friendly against Colombia and is said to be a huge prospect for the future for his country.
