Rafael Martiniano de Miranda Moura is a professional Brazilian football player who plays as a striker. Moura began playing for the Atletico Mineiro youth team, before breaking into the first team in 2004. He just managed to play one game before moving onto Esporte Clube Vitoria.

Moura continued to struggle for a regular first-team spot, playing just 4 games through 2004 and 2005, scoring once. He moved to Paysandu Esporte Clube in 2005, scoring 7 goals in 14 games and earning a transfer to Corinthians in 2006.

However, despite showing a lot of promise, Moura was unable to score more than 7 goals in 26 appearances, most of which were as a substitute. He moved to Europe and signed up with FC Locarno in Switzerland, but before making a single appearance for the team, was sent back to Brazil on a loan move with Fluminense.

He went on another loan move to FC Lorient in France, in 2007-08, but again sat on the bench most of the time. In 2008-09, Moura was sent out on loan to Atletico Paranaense and that is where he made his mark. Playing 27 games and scoring 9 goals. He moved to Goias Esporte Clube, on another loan move, in 2010, playing another 25 games and scoring 9 goals.

In 2011, Moura finally returned to Brazil and signed up with Fluminense. His 25 games for the club, since moving to Brazil, have resulted in 11 goals and Moura continues to remain on the bench behind players like Fred.

Rafael is also known as “He-Man”, for his resemblance to the comic book and cartoon hero.
