Timothy Chandler, popularly known as Timmy is an American soccer player currently playing for Bundesliga side 1.FC Nuremberg. He was born on 29 March 1990 in Frankfurt, Germany to a African American father and a German mother, therefore he hold the citizenship of both the nations.

The inception of his career took place with Sportfreunde Oberau. Afterwards he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in which he made the maximum number of 50 appearances. He soon earned a transfer to FC Nuremberg in the year 2010. His first debut in the team of Nuremberg was made on 15 January 2011 against Borussia Monchengladbach. he scored first goal of his professional careers on 12 February against VfB Stuttgart.

He had also had a honor of representing the National team of United States in 2011 making 8 appearances.
