Ivan Borghello
Ivan Emiliano Borghello is an Argentine professional football player who was born on January 21, 1983 in Parana, Argentina. Borghello is best known for being one of the top strikers of Barcelona Sporting Club.
Not much is known about Borghello during his younger years, although his professional debut in 2001 was recorded. During the said time, Borghello was a member of Newell’s Old Boys, and he stayed with the team until 2006. Back then, he was able to appear in 43 games and score 6 goals.
After his contract expired with the Old Boys, Borghello transferred to Santos Lagua B, where he played in 23 games and scored 7 goals. However, he was just contracted for a year before he transferred to a number of other teams sine 2007.
Some of the teams that Borghello has played with include Talleres de Cordoba, Godoy Cruz, Deportivo Quito, and his current club, Barcelona Sporting Club. It can be said that it was during his one year stint with Talleres de Cordoba that Borghello was able to score the most goals (14) in just a short span of time.
